Lung Phin Friday Market Tour – Discover an Authentic Mountain Market
Hidden among the mountains, Lung Phin Market is a small traditional market that takes place only on Friday morning. Unlike crowded tourist markets, Lung Phin still keeps a very local, simple, and authentic atmosphere of mountain life.
Early in the morning, people from surrounding villages begin their journey to the market. Some travel by motorbike, some ride horses, and many walk along small mountain paths to reach the market.
For local people, the market is not only a place to buy and sell goods but also a place to meet friends, chat, and share stories after days of working in the fields.
At Lung Phin Market, visitors can see people selling corn, cassava, vegetables, chickens, pigs, traditional clothes, and many handmade items.
Many women wear beautiful traditional ethnic costumes with colorful hand embroidery, creating a vibrant and lively atmosphere.
Walking around the market, visitors can feel the real rhythm of mountain life — people talking, sharing cups of corn wine, and enjoying the simple joy of market day.
For travelers who want to experience real local culture instead of crowded tourist places, Lung Phin Market offers a very special and memorable experience.
